An award distributed by Martindale-Hubbell®, AV Preeminent® is “[t]he highest peer rating standard. This is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.” Attorneys Phylicia Powers, Kevin Marcilliat, and Danielle Feller have received this award.
Phylicia Powers is a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 100. According to the organization, members are invited only after meeting several criteria, including an “outstanding reputation among peers, the judiciary and the public” and “board certification in their areas of specialty,” among other requirements.
The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 comprises the “top trial lawyers from each state or region who are under the age of 40.” Danielle Feller and Miranda Mills are both members of the organization.
